Hello there Quarter Past Normal readers {and viewers!}. I am so excited for today’s post because it marks the first video on my YouTube channel.
I have been wanting to film recipe videos for a long time, but I just hadn’t gotten around to it in forever. I decided that 2016 is the year to start the videos and see where it goes.

Fudgey Oreo Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 stick butter or margarine, room temperature and chopped up
- 1/2 C Oreo crumbs
- 1/2 C light brown sugar
- 1/2 C granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp coarse salt
- 3/4 C all purpose flour
Instructions
- Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and line or grease an 8x8 pan. Set aside.
- In either a double boiler or in the microwave, melt your butter and chocolate together until melted.
- Add in your oreos and then both kinds of sugar. Mix together using a spatula until combined.
- Add in both of your eggs until thoroughly combined.
- Add in your salt and flour and fold throughout your batter until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
- Transfer your batter to your prepared 8x8. Place mixture in the oven for 37-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out almost clean with only a few dry crumbs on it.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting.
