My husband is a cookie monster. He especially likes chocolate chip cookies. These are his favorite that I make, so I have a lot of experience with this recipe.
In fact, this is the first chocolate chip cookie that I ever made from scratch. That’s right – that’s how old this recipe is! Give this one a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 and line a couple of baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and both sugars together. Add vanilla and stir.
- Incorporate the egg then add your flour. Mix until mostly incorporated.
